Boy bands unite for world's worst supergroup

What do you get if you combine New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys? The world's worst supergroup, that's what.

Nicknamed NKOTBSB, the two boy bands have combined their hit-infested back-catalogues for a show that mixes old tracks, like Hangin' Tough and I Want It That Way, with mash-ups and a new song sung by both groups.

They debuted a medley of hits at last year's American Music Awards and after infesting American venues, the supergroup is heading overseas, booking flights to the UK to play concerts in April.

Jordan Knight from NKOTB said of the announcement: "We're so proud of the show, how it looks, sounds and feels - for us and most importantly our fans.

"To head back to the UK in the spring is an honour and I'm truly excited."

NKOTBSB play Liverpool on April 23, 2012 - then take in Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham and London.
