A verdict has been reached by the jury in the involuntary manslaughter trial of Michael Jackson's doctor and will be read at about 10am (NZT), court officials said.
The jury deliberated for about nine hours on the fate of Dr. Conrad Murray following a six-week trial.
Murray, 58, faces up to four years in prison if convicted.
The doctor, who was hired to care for Jackson as he prepared for a series of comeback concerts in 2009, pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
Jackson died in June 2009 at age 50.
