Be in to win Nun’s new birthday album

COME on Guiders — you don’t really believe that we were going to allow Flying Nun Records’ 30th anniversary month (November) slip by without offering you a little something sweet.
During the month of celebrations Gisborne didn’t get any gigs from the birthday roster – no show from The Bats at the Dome Room, no outdoor outing from The Verlaines at Marina Park.
But the charming Charlotte at Flying Nun is making good on that by offering to give away three copies of the tasty celebratory compilation Tally Ho!
Named after the 1981 break-through hit by Flying Nun band The Clean, the two-disc compilation features 40 tracks, starting from the foundation of the seminal Kiwi label to what it is putting out today.
The Chills, Sneaky Feelings, Look Blue Go Purple, The Bats, Straitjacket Fits, The Gordons, Able Tasmans, Jean-Paul Sartre Experience . . . they’re all there.
Your challenge is to take a stab at naming three songs that are included and those with the best strike rates will go into the draw to receive one of our giveaway copies.
